Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

1st January 2024

At OrthOracle we invest in our people and their working environment. We have created and maintain a safe and healthy workplace and ensure our workforces’ ongoing professional and personal development.

We are continually striving to ensure that OrthOracle is a great place to work, where our people reflect our inclusive culture in everything they do and where their contributions are welcomed and recognised.

We promote integrity and professionalism throughout OrthOracle and pride ourselves in leading by example. This starts with our Senior Management Team and is encouraged throughout our workforce.

We consider ourselves to be personable and approachable and hold these attributes up as being key when putting our core values into action. OrthOracle is committed to encouraging a healthier and happier workplace and we have an ongoing Health and Wellbeing Programme to support the financial, physical and mental health and wellbeing of our staff.

Another of our core values is offering continued career and personal development for our staff. We support them through structured educational and professional development throughout their time with OrthOracle.

We also strive to create a workplace in which there is mutual trust and respect and where every person feels responsible for the performance and reputation of the company. We respect one another and each other’s individual rights and customs.

Physical disabilities are no bar to becoming part of the OrthOracle team. We encourage remote working where physical limitations limit a person’s ability to travel or navigate an office space. Both in-house and external training opportunities are always offered also as a remote option.

OrthOracle’s founding philosophy is based on ethical principles, which were to instigate positive change in the medical education sector and business community in general. One of our key strategies has been looking to partner with people and companies from diverse backgrounds and cultures to ensure a learning experience that is as inclusive as it can be.

Through our national and international network of partners, who share our core values, we aim to make medical education, as well as the production of instructional medical content, accessible to all.

As the network has grown it has become increasingly clear, that there was also an opportunity to utilise this global network of people to work together and create positive social change.

For minority groups whose first language is not English we are progressively rolling out AI translated versions of the platform in many other commonly used languages.

As a company involved in healthcare in the UK, we are fundamentally committed to the UK Government Policy (PPN06/20).
