Calcaneal osteotomy is used to correct deformities – principally varus and valgus deformities of the heel. This may be an operation in its own right, but is often combined with other procedures to correct, for example, club foot.

Minimally invasive surgery can be used to achieve effective displacement with preservation of the soft tissue envelope.
