Tips for success with peripheral nerve surgery-VIDEO

Tahseen Chaudhry FRCS (Tr & Orth), Orthopaedic and peripheral nerve surgeon, from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK discusses the key points for success when operating on peripheral nerves.
The principles and tips he shares are applicable across a wide range of peripheral nerve surgery, and the many detailed instructional techniques to be found on the OrthOracle platform including:

Modified Oberlin double fascicular nerve transfer for elbow flexion
Posterior interosseous nerve decompression
Dorsal cutaneous ulnar nerve reconstruction using Axogen Avance nerve allograft
Radial nerve decompression
Axillary nerve decompression for quadrangular syndrome
Brachial plexus exploration and long thoracic nerve decompression
Common peroneal nerve decompression and application of NeuroCap device (Polyganics)
Cubital tunnel decompression: In-situ distal to proximal release of the ulnar nerve
Median and ulnar nerve decompressions
Median nerve: Proximal release at the pronator tunnel
Modified Somsak nerve transfer (medial head of triceps nerve transfer to anterior division of the axillary nerve through a posterior approach)
Targeted Muscle Reinnervation (TMR) for neuroma treatment following above knee amputation
Revision Thoracic Outlet Decompression for Pectoralis Minor Syndrome
Carpal tunnel decompression
