Announcing collaboration with The Bone and Joint Journal

“What’s interesting about collaborations is the possibility for one plus one to equal three”

Rei Kawakubo

(founder Comme des Garcons).

I am delighted to announce to our readers that OrthOracle and the The Bone and Joint Journal, official publication of British Orthopaedic Association, are now working together in Orthopaedic education.
From today our collaboration will deliver to all OrthOracle subscribers much easier access to The Bone & Joint Journals  open content, within the New Evidence section of our instructional techniques.

Once a month we will also be fusing The Bone & Joint Journals content with ours to deliver a “Chimera update”, this months being on Reverse shoulder replacement.
In terms of this Chimera think sleek, alluring and ruthlessly efficient like a Mermaid, rather than loud, noisy and badly dressed like a Minotaur.
This unique combination of The Bone & Joint Journals definitive academic evidence and our unmatched instructional techniques significantly raises the bar for what Orthopaedic education can deliver.

The Bone & Joint Journal publishes high quality research and clinical content and has been the benchmark for orthopaedic publishing for over 70 years.
With an international team of Editors and Editorial Board Members, led by Professor Fares Haddad, University College Hospitals, London, this monthly publication, with an impact factor of 5.385, is an essential read for all practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons and Residents Worldwide.
Subscribing to the The Bone and Joint Journal, allows you to access the most recent content as well as the entire back archive.
Across The Bone & Joint Journal platform you will also find a growing archive of over 1300 open access papers from Bone & Joint ResearchBone & Joint Open and The Bone & Joint Journal.

As part of the Journals digital offering OrthoSearch is a free to use orthopaedic content discovery tool. Recently launched, to great professional reviews, it delivers relevant results from the first page to the last. Not only covering most orthopaedic journals, it also indexes relevant content from the main general medical journals, as well as professional Standards & Guidelines, podcasts, videos, and surgical techniques.

At OrthOracle we are all hugely proud to be working with The Bone and Joint Journal and excited by the significant potential that this relationship has to define Orthopaedic Education Worldwide for years to come.

My best wishes
